Now that we have finished reading Guarded Treasure by Mae Lovette and taken the time to let it all sink in, we’re going to share our final thoughts on the book as a whole. Our goal is not to review the book, per se, but we will be sharing what we liked and disliked.

Final Thoughts:
We thought this book was a fun adventure and it had some spicy moments. Jac didn't find this book to be up her alley but Michaela thought the conclusion to the adventure was up hers. We were excited by the premise of this story, but we didn't think the story was as fleshed out as it could have been. This is a newer author and there was a lot of good stuff in this book, it could have benefited from some editing and story exploration. We would have loved to learn more about the magic and the magical artifacts. We really did enjoy glimpses into Egyptian mythology and history, though!
