Final Thoughts:
Michaela: Payback's a Witch was a fun and different kind of romance story. We got a lot of some fun magic, small town vibes, and some badass witches. I really enjoyed this book however the ending felt a bit rushed. It felt like a combination of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Gilmore Girls, but make it sapphic. It hit the spot for a fun fall read!
Jacilyn: This book definitely scratched the spooky season itch. I love me a sapphic, witchy contemporary romance, and while I wanted more from the spice, the one-pepper spice score will definitely appeal to others. I really enjoy Lana Harper's writing style. She's created a really interesting magic system in Thistle Grove, and I'm exciting to find that this will be the first book of a series. Overall a good read!
