Now that we have finished reading Spare by Prince Harry and taken the time to let it all sink in, we’re going to share our final thoughts on the book as a whole. Our goal is not to review the book, per se, but we will be sharing what we liked and disliked.

Final Thoughts:
We really enjoyed reading this memoir. We found the connections to Diana to be both lovely and heartbreaking. The love between Harry and Meghan was lovely to read and the struggles they faced was awful. We read Diana’s biography a few years ago here at Shelf Explored so seeing this family and this system through the eyes of someone else was fascinating. While we struggled to read the section about Harry’s service in the army, overall we loved reading this one and it even brought tears to our eyes a few times.
